Sweet Home Mine CO- Rhodochrosite & Pyrite

Originally discovered in 1873 as a Silver ore mine, which was wildly unsuccessful as a Silver mine but set the worlds standard for world class rhodochrosite. This mine is still in production today privately. 
This specimen is uniquely polished on one side and displays a pink bright vein of rhodochrosite and several layers of pyrite
