This stellar mid cabinet specimen of Fluorite with crystallized barite and colorful chalcopyrite is from the famous German silver and cobalt mine the Bergmännish Glück Mine in Frohau Annaberg-Bucholtz Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany. This mine was opened in the 1800s and was worked intermittently until it was closed in 1837. Fluorites from this locale are best known among collectors for the contemporary production of high quality fluorite specimens that were retrieved long after the mine was shut down.
